newvlogoVerulam Amateur Swimming Club is St Albans based with 250 swimmers and Swim21 Accreditation at Skill Development and Teaching Levels. We run a Swim School offering children’s learn-to-swim lessons and club training sessions for older swimmers. We pride ourselves in being a competitive, but friendly club which aims to give swimmers the opportunity to compete at their own level. Our coaches and teachers are dedicated to get the very best from our swimmers and work alongside our team of volunteers who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the club.

Herts Peanuts League Round 2 Saturday 11th June

The next Peanuts gala will take place at Stevenage Pool, SG1 1XY. The team has been emailed out and is on our events page. Swimmers are asked to confirm their attendance as soon as possible.

Verulam will be hosting this event, so parents are asked to volunteer.

ASA Eastern Regionals Weekend One

Congratulations to Elena Baccas and Lucy Molloy for their performance
during the East Region Swimming Championships (LC)  on the 1st May Bank
Holiday  weekend 30 April and 01 May!!! Elena competed in the 200m, 100m and 50m breaststroke events and came 7th in the the finals of 200m breaststroke. Lucy swam in the 50m breaststroke, just missing the finals by a fraction of the second.

Well done girls! It was a pleasure to watch you compete!

Good luck to Isabel, Libby and Nathaniel due to take part in the second weekend of the Regional Champs at Luton.

Well done Lucy!

Congratulations to Lucy Jordan-Caws for her fantastic performances during Great Britain Deaf Club Championships (SC) on 19 March in Nottingham. Lucy won six medals in the six events she raced (four golds, one silver and one bronze)  and ‘Swimmer of the Meet’ trophy. We were all very impressed and motivated!
