Want a resolution that won’t let you let it down? Then resolve to become a part of the club’s volunteer officials corps! Block out the last weekend in February (24th-25th), and you will be on your way. This is a New Year’s opportunity that comes with the assurance that you will complete the programme and contribute valuable time to the children, the club and sport!
Below is all the information you need from Herts ASA, but also consider this message from Zofia:
As a competitive club we don’t have enough swimming officials. We need parents, especially of the competitive swimmers, to become level 1 and 2 judges. The more the better – as it will ease the pressure for everyone. Some of the competitions that expect us to provide officials include: County Championships, Arena League Galas, Major and Peanuts Leagues, Open Meets, and our own Club Champs. Please, do sign up ASAP.

Hertfordshire ASA will once again be hosting the annual County Development Weekend to enable coaches, teachers, officials, and volunteers to upskill, develop, and share ideas. Last year the event saw over 230 places filled by learners, and this year the aim is to attract even more!
All workshops are on a first come first served basis, as some workshops have a maximum capacity allowance. Some of these workshops will not be delivered again until 2019, so make sure you book your place. The programme outline can be found HERE.
Below is a list of the workshops available. Please click on each title to find out more about the workshop, and to open the booking form. Bookings close 10th February.
